My PhD work, realized at the University of Aix-Marseille, was interdisciplinary, at the interface between Natural Product Chemistry and Functional Marine Ecology. Currently I am a research fellow in Gary Siuzdak’s Center for Metabolomics at The Scripps Research Institute. My research is essentially about the improvement and application of untargeted metabolomics approaches to study bacteria baseline metabolism as well as their adaptive responses to adverse changes in the environment.
