William Kemnitzer
DPX Labs, LLC

William Kemnitzer obtained his B.S. in chemistry at Vanderbilt University. He earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the University of South Carolina in 1998 under the supervision of Professor John H. Dawson and Professor Thomas A. Bryson. He completed his postdoctoral training with Professor James S. Nowick at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining DPX Labs, he worked as a medicinal chemist for 8 years at Maxim Pharmaceuticals and Epicept Corporation developing apoptosis inducers and inhibitors. More recently, he obtained his M.A.S. in clinical research from the University of California, San Diego. He is an author on 19 peer reviewed publications, with 15 as lead author, and 6 issued US patents. Currently he is the west coast regional manager for business and product development at DPX Labs.
