Randall Julian, PhD

Presenter Bio: Randy Julian is the Founder and CEO of Indigo BioAutomation. Randy earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University. Dr. Julian worked for 14 years at Eli Lilly using mass spectrometry in natural product drug discovery, high throughput screening for RNA anti-viral compounds, and proteomics and metabolomics in animal models. Randy founded Indigo as a spin-out of Lilly. Indigo develops software that uses machine learning techniques to analyze data from laboratories across the US automatically. Dr. Julian is also is an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Purdue.

Indigo BioAutomation FeMS Awards 2022

Indigo BioAutomation is thrilled to announce that we are launching two annual awards to Females in Mass Spectrometry group members, with the first presentations taking place in 2022.

The first award will be a Young Investigator Award and research grant presented to a young investigator, to carry out a research project based on data science innovation in mass spectrometry.

The second award will be a Distinguished Contribution Award presented to a member of the FeMS community who has had an impact in the field of data science in mass spectrometry.
