The vitamin D metabolism mass spectrometry group is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to design and conduct research projects in our recently established analytical chemistry translational endocrinology laboratory. The Medical Research Council Laboratory of Medical Science is a world leading multidisciplinary center where scientists and clinicians collaborate to advance the understanding of biology and its application to medicine.

Position Summary:
The Postdoctoral Research Scientists will design and develop analytical methods and research projects The vitamin D metabolism mass spectrometry groups is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to design and conduct research projects in our recently established analytical chemistry translational endocrinology laboratory. Position Summary:
The Postdoctoral Research Scientist will design and develop analytical methods and research projects to investigate the role of vitamin D metabolism in health, and train junior laboratory researchers.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry including method development, sample preparation techniques and data analysis. Interest in the translational applications of mass spectrometry in endocrine metabolism and health research.

Education:
Must have a PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field.
