BCAL Diagnostics Limited is a pioneer in developing a revolutionary lipid biomarker blood screening test aimed at complementing existing imaging technologies for breast cancer screening.

We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable LCMS Scientist to join our staff on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will focus on developing, validating, and transferring analytical test methods in line with GLP, and ISO 15189/17025 standards.

What will you be doing?
• Actively engage and lead analytical method development/troubleshooting for the biomarker analysis samples including defining and optimizing sample extraction, clean-up, and instrument conditions for pipeline biomarkers.
• Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods to support the R&D team.
• Assist in the preparation of analytical method validation and stability assay reports.
• Stay abreast of discoveries and technologies in clinical diagnostics and analytical chemistry and implement new approaches when appropriate.
• Support biomarker research through mass spectrometry across all phases of operations.

What do you bring?

You’re an energetic, innovative, collaborative and degree qualified Scientist with analytical experience using Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), and broad knowledge of sample extraction and clean-up techniques from complex matrices preferably within diagnostics, CRO, and Pharmaceuticals.
