ECDC Networking Event

Location: Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Sponsored by the Early Career Development Committee (ECDC), this event is targeted towards Travel Grantees and other individuals early in their career. Includes transportation to and from, a catered lunch with three 20-minute talks geared to increase awareness of educational options available at MSACL, and a little time to explore the mountain.

The ECDC Networking event will take place on Sunday Jan 22 from 10:30am - 2:30pm at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway with registration priority given to Travel Grantees. There are only 120 slots available. There are over 140 Travel Grantees. The fee for this event is $50 ($30 for Travel Grantees). This includes bus transport to the Tram, travel on the tram to the top of the mountain, a buffet lunch in the Francis Crocker room with 20-minute presentations from Thomas Annesley (on being a reviewer), Ranier Vollmerhaus (on results management) and Karen Mahooti (on presentation optimization) focused on making you a better person so you can do better science and communicate with more import, and an hour or two to explore the mountain before heading back down for afternoon short courses. Travel Grantee priority registration for this event ends on Dec 2. If interested, please register while completing your conference registration.

How do I modify my conference registration if I want to register after Dec 2, and space is still available?
Answer: You should have received a confirmation email from RegOnline when you registered. Its subject will be MSACL Registration Confirmation. Within this email there is the option to Review your registration. Click on this and then Click on Manage your registration. Here you will need to enter the password that you created when you initiated your registration. Once in, you will be able to modify your registration.
